I built this Telecaster with the Harley Benton Kit by Thomann.
It features a decoration with colored papers, mirrors and holographic paper, as well as a small electronic ink screen in the pickguard to display multiple decorations in black and white!
The screen is connected to an Arduino inserted under the pickguard. When you press the white button on the pickguard, the Arduino starts and displays a new image. When you release the button, the Arduino shutdown. Thanks to e-ink technology, the same used in e-readers like the Kindle, the picture remains on the screen even if it is not powered. So, the battery is only used when you press the button (for 2 sec) to change the image. With the 9v battery, you can press the button thousands of times.
